SSDI denies over 70% of claims. You can then request a court hearing. You will than wait an average of 28 months to get to that court hearing in front of a fed judge. You had better hire a rep, who will get about 800 an hour based on the time they actually put in. Without it you have a chance in hell. The system is bS, even if you paid into it since you were 10 yrs old.

If you or anyone you know has expensive medical procedures or feels they are paying to much for health care, dental, mental, or any kind of health related service please contact me at healthcareisaright AT gmail DOT comm I am part of a grass roots effort to reach those people and inform them about programs that could help them dramatically.

Hey Harold Great video! I was just diagnosed a month ago with Scheuermanns disease Its a vey rare spinal disease and causes severe back Pain. There is no cure for it only medication to calm the pain. So yeah I will have this for the rest of my life. I just saw a doctor today and he put me on 5 different medication So do you think I got a good chance of getting disability I think so and my dodctor says I can because I am in pain always and cant do work because of this.

Davieboy1970: Many attorneys recommend that a strong medical opinion from the doctor will help.

A strong medical opinion is essential in getting a favorable determination from the SSA. Thanks for sharing this valuable insight.

I had a discectomy in my lowwer spine 2 years ago. Helped me to walk again but since then I have deteriorated. Now I have edema of the spine and need a walker to get around at 40 years old and my cognition and memory is affected, etc… Can’t work. I live paycheck to paycheck and am out of money now and starting to become hopless, it’s hard to deal with pain 24/7 and get things done. Thanks for your video. You are awesome for doing this for people. May God bless you.

Pain in its self is a mental disability. Than you can add the meds to try to diminish it. It’s a cycle that really sucks.Multi-level decompression laminectomy, pedicle screws, fusions 360. Ended up worse than I was before I had it done. Half the time I wish my legs were gone, they hurt so bad. Took me over 2 years to SSDI. Sorry for your pain. I hope you have figured it out.
